I am a life-long learner of all things pet-related!
I’ve loved animals of all types for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was always filling our house with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ferrets, reptiles, amphibians, and more.

I was a Special Education teacher for more than 12 years. I taught a range of different ages and disabilities, but spent most of my career in Early Childhood Special Education. My love for animals was evident in my classrooms, having a wide range of animals for the children to experience. Animals provided wonderful learning opportunities, and animal therapy is an amazing gift to witness. Even though I have changed careers, I feel that my years as a special education teacher serve me well as a pet massage therapist!
I am currently the proud mom of two dogs. Both receive traditional care, along with alternative therapies. It is a wonderful balance for their continued well-being.

As a dog mom, I understand the deep commitment you share with your pet, and it’s my honor to be entrusted to help. I’m also happy to share my knowledge and experience at every opportunity. It’s important to me that your pet—and you—get the most out of every session!

My Journey Into Pet Massage
In 2001, my dog Fairway, who was only 5 years old at the time, developed a blood disorder. Her prognosis was grave, and she was put on a large dose of steroids to “make her comfortable.” I was devastated. I decided to search for some alternative methods in addition to her more traditional veterinary care.

It took almost 2 years to restore Fairway’s health, which was nothing short of amazing! She received regular acupuncture treatments, along with a wide variety of supplements. Fairway lived a full life until the ripe old age 15 1/2. (Pretty great for a Lab/Golden Retriever!) I thank her every day for the wonderful holistic and healing path she led me to, because her remarkable journey marked the beginning of my journey into alternative therapies for pets. Here I am over 15 years later, loving every minute of it!
